The surpassing relations between China and Pakistan

China and Pakistan relations are growing from one sector to others, including infrastructure, energy cooperation and agriculture. Both countries are making agreements by leaps and bounds, and it means a lot for Asian Geo-Politics.

China’s Vice Foreign Minister Luo Zhaohui met here with newly-appointed Pakistani ambassador Moin ul Haque and exchanged views on Sino-Pak relations and the high-quality jointly construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) recently. According to Gwadar Pro on Wednesday, Luo said the China and Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperation partnership keeps high-level development despite the disturbance of COVID-19 epidemic and others. The two sides strengthen exchanges at all levels, deepen anti-epidemic cooperation and boost the high-quality construction of CPEC and the Belt and Road Initiative.

Haque said it is an honour to be the ambassador to China. He said Pakistan and China are the unique “iron friends”. Pakistan is ready to support China on all issues concerning its core interests firmly. Pakistan sincerely congratulates China on taking the lead both in fighting the epidemic and resuming development. Pakistan stands ready to work closely with China to tap the potential for cooperation in various fields and push bilateral relations to a higher level. Luo and Haque exchanged the treaty on the transfer of sentenced persons between China and Pakistan.

In a recent interview, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran loud about their forsee relationship with China and cited that China and Pakistan growth are interlinked in future as well. Mr Khan added, Pakistan is learning from China’s experiences overbuilding the Capitalist Economy, about how China built its Special Economic Zones and developed cities which are working and strengthening Chinese economy as a growth engine now.

One side, Pakistan is getting advanced weapons from Chinese PLA. On the other side, China is helping Pakistan to boost its Agricultural growth through development and research by manifold. Also, Pakistan has got a tremendous Chinese investment in infrastructure in POK and across Pakistan. It somehow seems like a plot to take on India, but at the same time, it is also Debt-Trap diplomacy where Pakistan is trapping in.
